Packing and Shipping

Our plants are agriculturally certified to enter all states within the U.S. Each plant is carefully harvested and packaged with the utmost care by highly trained staff. Our boxes accommodate quantities of 24 or 36 4" pot plants per box. We will carefully select the box size that best fit the size of your plants and length of the plant’s inflorescence.

Packing Charges

A flat rate packing fee will be charged per box to cover regular packing materials. During the winter season, the per box packing fee will be adjusted to include extra insulation packing for destinations that require it.

Shipping Options

All shipments will be shipped via FedEx (Priority Overnight) or UPS as it is the most economic way of shipping express with a guaranteed on-time delivery (carrier's policy). FedEx offers a "Hold for Pickup" service for those who prefer to pick up their package(s) at a nearby station. Freight charges are based on the carriers’ current rates.

Unpacking your orchids

Make sure boxes are right side up and cut the straps and tape sealing the box. Remove box cover, then remove packing material such as shredded newspaper and cotton packing material above first layer of plants. Use a sharp edge to cut the packing tape that secures the plants together and to the box. Alternatively, the tape may be gently lifted and removed from the plants.

Gently lift plants out of the box, one at a time, using one hand to support the pot and the other to hold the balance of the plant. Remove any packing material surrounding the base individual plants, then remove the plastic sleeve from bottom to top. Place plants in pot holder, tray, or heavy clay pots to keep them from tipping over. Remember to allow adequate space between the plants, as the plants and flowers need room to stretch and fresh air to move through.
